What are the differences and similarities in interference patterns when a double slit is replaced by multiple slits of the same separation?

With the same separation, d, the angle at which the fringes appear will be the same, as nλ=d sin θ.

However, because there are more slits, the maximum intensity of the fringes will be greater, as the light has more opportunity to constructively interfere.

This also means more destructive interference, which is observed on the screen as much sharper (thinner) fringes.
